Coming up on Monday: an information session and call for submissions for The Dialogue

This year, VCS student Jennifer Keyes is serving as Editor-in-Chief of The Dialogue, SVA’s online magazine (you can read about its prior incarnation under a different name at this page on the SVA website). A couple days ago, Jennifer contacted me about an information meeting they’re holding this coming Monday to let people know about the magazine and put out a call for student submissions. Here’s a blurb that she asked me to pass along:

Join The Dialogue, SVA’s student-run online magazine. We accept multimedia submissions including written articles, photos, videos, and drawings on a variety of topics. The Dialogue is your chance to share your experiences as an artist, a young adult, and beyond. Come to the informational meeting Monday September 30th at 7pm in the Student Center (217 E 23rd St) for donuts and to find out more.

In addition to the information above, she also had this to say: “We accept all types of articles: personal columns, opinion pieces, product reviews, critical essays, etc. but also multimedia submissions like photo, video, and drawing. We were formerly called Untitled and had a more newspaper format but are going in a new direction this year.”

If you’d like to know more, we encourage you to check out Monday’s meeting. You can also contact Jennifer at jkeyes1@sva.edu if you’ve got any questions about submissions or would just like to know more about The Dialogue.
